Television, a object of Modern Marvel. It is movement, entertainment and information. So in basic Feng Shui theory, we identify it as yang. By referring to the Yin-yang theory, we identify that the lights and noises combine are extremely yang that we can use the Television, TV for short as a Yang remedy.

So people who have a TV and are interested in Feng Shui.

Will need to remember is that there is always two side of the coin.

Today we’ll explore both, when Yang remedy are require in Yin situations, and Yang removal is required in Yang situations. Please note that one does require an eye for seeing Yin-yang first to be able to apply this effectively. However any normal person will be to feel the effect over time so if one wants to apply this to one house, one can.

Number 1) Adding Yang : If you have a very Yin house

The overly Yin house is a serious issue for people who want to have children.

It is classic text book example of people with a big house meant for children, can seem to can not have children. Sometimes the cause is fully medical, other times the Feng Shui is contributed to the issue.

This is because to many bedrooms but too few people.

Creating an overly Yin environment that makes it hard to conceive.

One way that this issue is resolve without doing any Feng Shui is to take a long Honeymoon.

However for people who are workaholic with limited free time.

Buying a few TVs may just be the easier solution.

The sounds and light will help balance out the Yin environment.

Please note for couples with fertility problems. I suggest that before you fork out an extreme amount of money and subject your partner through fertility treatments.

Try taking Chinese medicine (the oxford approve type) and doing Feng Shui that is focus on the bedroom/bed.

IF you want to know if this work or not try asking around.

You’ll hear a lot of stories from your Chinese aunties.

Number 2) Removal of Yang: A very good night sleep

Bad sleep can be caused by bad Feng Shui.

Bed under the beam, bed facing the TV…

Better to great sleep can also be cause by good Feng Shui.

So when I do Feng Shui as an Feng Shui expert. I’ll give my clients option to monitor effects of doing Feng Shui a smart watch.

They can watch their deep sleep quality go up by 15–20 minutes.

This is done in two parts,

  1. By taking out the TV, computer and junk. You are removing extreme yang in the form of electricity current. And negativing Yin to create harmony in the space.
  2. Shifting the bed to a good position.

It is great for people with health issues.

Especially people born in a metal year and/or people with specific unbalance bazi charts.

For people who want to know which direct is best for you. I’m afraid that without a bazi reading, I cannot tell you. Because we all are different resulting in different enhancing element.

So if you are interested please book a Bazi consultation.

Number 3) Activation Yang: More and Happy clients

This is often a problem for small offices or reception area.

There is little Qi entering the space resulting in slow and less than enthusiastic clients.

A common and quite easy fix is to set up a sitting area with a TV.

This is creating positive vibration and opportunities. I also try and add a clock and vases to this combination as we want double or triple luck.

See post about clock and vase.

One though on Feng Shui of the home. One thing we as Feng Shui experts should note for clients is we sit opposite to the TV. The best Watching TV position is when the TV is against the wall. This exposes us to less supported position creating gaps in our personal Feng Shui. So sometimes the TV it is may cause the problem without the client being aware of the effect.
